Everyone here at Diamond Tail would like to wish you a Happy New Year!
It's an exciting time at Diamond Tail. The last quarter of 2020 ended strong with 2 homesites closing and 6 more that went to contract and are scheduled to close in January. Home site sales are not the only activity at DT, there are also a lot of new custom homes being built in our community. There were 4 beautiful custom homes under construction in 2020, with 9 more new homes scheduled to break ground in 2021.
It's been a normal winter in Placitas. We've received a few storms that each produced a few inches of snow - just enough to provide gorgeous winter views of the surrounding mountain ranges (see attached photo). We've also enjoyed an abundance of sunny days making for perfect weather for outdoor recreation. I spoke with an owner yesterday who had just enjoyed a great game of golf and another couple who were off to go mountain biking. You've got to love the temperate climates here in New Mexico!
We had our annual HOA meeting in November (video call) and are happy to report that everything is going well in our community. Our year-end financials and projected budget are all in-line with the 30-year reserve study we completed in 2019. The Association is financially strong and debt-free with substantial reserves
